aron! is a 23-year-old up-and-coming singer-songwriter who blends jazz and pop. He is considered to be “the cozy pop king,” by both his fans and himself. aron! recently opened for the artist, dodie, in Europe and is now rolling out his latest musical era.
On September 17, aron! hosted an intimate album release party for his new album, Too Close For Running, at a speakeasy called Studio 151 on the Lower East Side. The venue served sushi and had an open bar for guests. As soon as you entered the speakeasy, the first things you noticed were the red lights and the album covers decorated the walls. Only about twenty fans attended, and the rest of the guests were music-focused content creators and people who work in the music industry. Throughout the night, the guests mingled and grabbed signature drinks that were based around aron!’s aesthetic and his new album.
aron! was introduced by the moderator, Mindy Ossi, who is a content creator who talks about music artists. aron! played a few songs from the album. Afterwards, Ossi came back on stage and hosted a Q&A with aron!. They talked about where he grew up, and his music journey, and how he was able to collaborate with both dodie and Mei Semones. Interestingly, he and dodie collaborated virtually, since dodie is based in London and aron! is based in New York. The rest of the night was filled with more sushi coming out, the rest of the album being played (along with other songs), and guests mingling. It was a fantastic evening of music, and you can stream aron!’s new album out now!
