Rising pop star MARIS is halfway done with her first ever solo headline tour and she made a stop this week in Boston, Massachusetts at Brighton Music Hall, which is the largest venue of the entire leg.
Fans had the opportunity to upgrade their experience with an exclusive VIP package, which included an arts and crafts station, MARIS MOSH★PIT tote bag, signed tour poster, polaroid photo with MARIS, a live performance and Q&A, and priority karaoke sign up.
Doors opened promptly for the general public at 7pm and the karaoke session began at 7:15pm. Fans from all over Boston gathered in the space to sing their favorite songs. This part of the evening served as the warmup for MARIS’ set. It created a welcoming and fun environment for everyone in the room and was a unique experience for those who had never attended a MARIS concert before.
MARIS hit the stage full of energy at 8:20PM with “MOSH★PIT,” which was the perfect first song for the show. Her EP sharing the same title dropped one month ago, and it was fun to hear songs like “Losing People” and “Missing Me” come to life on stage. In addition to these new songs, MARIS also played old favorites like “Body Is On Fire,” “Salt Water Taffy,” “The Fight,” “Heavenly Bodies,” and her breakout single, “Give Me A Sign.”
This is our fourth time covering MARIS, and every contributor who has seen her live is enthralled by her incredible vocals and unmatched stage presence. She has an incredible and rare ability to connect with her fans in both unserious and extremely genuine ways. She is authentic and has created a safe space through her music and concerts; it is clear that she cares about her fans and the community that she’s fostered.
MARIS is on her North American tour through mid November, and many dates have limited tickets left or are sold out. She will also be spreading holiday cheer this season as a performer on the CPKC Holiday Train. Be sure to get tickets while you can here! MARIS is a superstar and you won’t want to miss this show.
