American singer-songwriter Ryan Beatty recently played a packed show at House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts, with support from pop artist girlsweetvoiced.
I first saw Ryan during his opening slot on Maggie Rogers’s Don’t Forget Me Tour. He is an incredible artist to see live, with unmatched stage presence and amazing vocals. Since 2024, he has collaborated with Beyoncé on her critically acclaimed album Cowboy Carter, which won him a Grammy for Album of the Year in 2025.
Ryan’s most recent record, Sweet Fortune, was released this past summer and features a rich, folksy Americana sound. Sweet Fortune is his fourth studio album and showcases his development as an artist. Almost the entire album was featured on the concert’s setlist; Ryan opened with “Phantom” and immediately launched into the title track, “Sweet Fortune.” One of the highlights of the show was when the crowd sang “I’ve got a life in California / And a family and a band / But I’ve got a man in Massachusetts” during “Too Many Ways.” Crowds love when their city is mentioned during a song, and it always makes for an extra special moment at live music events.
Ryan continues his headline tour across the pond with girlsweetvoiced at the end of October. You can purchase tickets to see him live here!
