Legendary rock group Journey are going on tour for a second leg of their Final Frontier Tour this fall. The announcement of this final tour is the culmination of chart-topping hits and five decades of incredible live performances and marks a major milestone in each member’s career. The tour is also a huge celebration for millions of listeners around the world and will feature fan favorites like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” and many more. It makes for a perfect way to bid farewell to the Rock & Roll Hall of fame band.
The band has already played a whopping 40 cities across the United States and Canada and has received praise for their performances from outlets like Parklife DC, The Pop Punk Dad, and more. Band members Neal Schon (lead guitarist), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Arnel Pineda (lead vocals) Jason Derlatka (keyboards, vocals), Deen Castronovo (drums, vocals) and Todd Jensen (bass) have expressed their emotions surrounding this tour, with Neal stating that this tour is “our heartfelt thank you to the fans who’ve been with us every step of the way — through every song, every era, every high and low. We’re pulling out all the stops with a brand-new production — the hits, the deep cuts, the energy, the spectacle. It’s a full-circle celebration of the music that’s brought us all together.” Jonathan and Arnel have also expressed gratitude for the experience and the ways in which fans have welcomed Journey’s music into their lives.
The tour is sponsored by Citi, and cardmembers had first access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program back in mid May. The general on sale followed a couple of days later. A very limited number of VIP packages are available for this tour and include perks such as premium reserved tickets, custom merchandise, and other goodies.
