After over a 2-year music hiatus, alternative singer-songwriter Bruno Major returns to the scene alongside video game composer Adrian Berenguer to release a new single, “Remember To Dance (Little Things)”. The collaboration blends a mix of Berenguer’s piano rendition of “Little Things” with Major’s feathery lyrics to create the perfect lullaby for adults.
The song starts with a simple piano riff – a dreamy-like melody that takes the listener out of the everyday rush that life brings into an alternative reality made of clouds. As the riff loops, Bruno tiptoes around fleeting memories and overlooked moments, stressing how easy life’s smallest details can slip away. He sings, “Blink and you can miss the important bits.”
Major urges us to take a step back and just look at the world we have created for ourselves. Amidst the pressure to chase the next accomplishment, he reminds us that self love and gratitude is overlooked when we prioritize the next goal. No Major writes “As the curtains will close, the show will pack away. Nobody’s here for the ending. Wherever you go, what road you might take, always remember to dance,” spotlighting the song’s message at its core.
Major paired the release of this song with an Instagram video that showed his younger self playing on the grass with family. This brings together Major’s major life advice is that through the movement of life, we must always remember to pause and dance.
