Reneé Rapp celebrated the release of her sophomore album, BITE ME, with an intimate release show at Brooklyn Warsaw on August 1st. The show was short and sweet but gave fans a glimpse at what’s to come when Reneé heads out on her major arena and amphitheater tour this fall.

Reneé has been going essentially nonstop since the release of her EP, Everything to Everyone, back in 2022. She released her debut album, Snow Angel, in the summer of 2023, has starred in various movies and TV shows, and made appearances at major festivals around the United States, including Gov Ball and Bonnaroo during her last album cycle. BITE ME encapsulates all of her emotions and lived experiences over the past couple of years, and it is the perfect summer album.

Fans were selected to attend the release show for free through a lottery based system. They were given BITE ME shirts, tank tops, and hats by Reneé’s team while waiting in line, and there was a lot of commotion surrounding the new album, which had dropped at midnight the night before. Inside the venue, there was an exclusive BITE ME release show t-shirt available for fans to purchase.

Reneé hit the stage at approximately 8:10PM and opened her set with the lead single off the album, “Leave Me Alone.” The high energy song set the tone for the rest of the show, which was full of fun interactive moments with the crowd and Reneé’s incredible live vocals. Reneé also opened up to her fans later on during the show, expressing vulnerability when talking about and performing her heartbreaking ballad “I Can’t Have You Around Me Anymore.” Other highlights of the evening included hearing singles like “Mad” and “Shy,” as well as the live debut of “At Least I’m Hot.”

This release show proved that BITE ME is meant to be played live on stage and that Reneé Rapp is a star. You can purchase tickets to and VIP upgrades for her upcoming headline tour here.
