Rising pop rock songwriter and multi-instrumentalist kylekelly is on a roll! He recently opened for Daniel Seavey’s highly anticipated Second Wind Tour at Irving Plaza in New York City and is set to release his debut EP, a melancholic romcom, on May 16th — you can pre save it here! His latest single, “it always ends the same,” is available to listen to now, and fans all over the country have been getting to hear it live on this tour.

Kyle is inspired by classic rom coms and has the unique ability of transforming vulnerable and admittedly awkward experiences into high-energy pop rock anthems that are perfect to sing along to. He grew up in South Jersey and started playing shows around New York City as a teenager. Kyle’s discography translated perfectly onstage, and he did a fantastic job of kicking off the night. The venue was already packed by the time that he went on, which helped build the anticipation that was radiating throughout the room. During his set, Kyle expressed his excitement about playing his biggest show thus far in New York, and the supportive crowd cheered so loud in return that one would think he was headlining the evening. The set featured a mix of Kyle’s original songs, as well as a fantastic cover of “She Looks So Perfect” by 5 Seconds of Summer, which was definitely a highlight for both the fans and the band alike. As Kyle wrapped up his set, the crowd enthusiastically waved and applauded, making it clear that he definitely gained some new fans that night.

Kyle’s final date supporting the Second Wind Tour is tonight, but his musical journey has only just begun. Be sure to keep an eye out for our exclusive pre-show chat with Kyle, which will be dropping in support of his EP next month!
