Sarah Julia brought their enchanting harmonies to Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right the other night. They were supported by indie rock musician Sofia Wolfson, who is based out of New York.
The Amsterdam sisters’ low-key, acoustic sound was boosted by their talented guitarist, bassist, and drummer, who interpreted the songs in a different light. The duo played crowd favorites like “Cairngorms” and “Thoughtless Man,” as well as a Goo Goo Dolls cover.
In one special moment during the set, Sarah Julia and their band came into the middle of the crowd for a stripped-down version of their song “Conspiracy Theorist.” The intimacy of the performance was felt as the surrounding crowd listened quietly with rapt attention.
One of the final songs of the night was “Amsterdam,” a newly released single which the girls dedicated to their mom who had flown in to surprise them. This created a heartfelt, unique, and special moment shared between the artist, their family, and their fans.
