On Saturday, March 22, 2025, Macseal played the final show of their first headlining tour in New York City, with support from Buffchick and Carly Cosgrove.
NYC-based singer Buffchick was up first, warming up the crowd with her beautiful voice and indie rock tunes. Next was Carly Cosgrove, an emo band out of Philadelphia, who energized the crowd with their mathy riffs.
Macseal played several songs from their 2024 album, Permanent Repeat, such as “Four Legs” and “Easily Undone” where they brought out Carly Cosgrove’s Lucas Naylor as a guest feature. The band played other classics from their old catalog including, “Nothing’s A Sure Thing, Shelly” and “5:45 AM (Not Fun).”On stage was a framed photo of Harry Styles, which they held up for the titular song “Harry.” The band’s dedicated fanbase held onto every lyric, shouting along to all the words, dancing in the pit, and stage-diving. For the last song “Next to You,” the band invited stage-divers up in quick succession, a great closer to a very lively gig.
Though Macseal’s tour is over, you can follow the band for more music and tour announcements!
